This year the Warm Up Oswego Festival will kick off with a Snow Sculpture contest throughout the city—registration for snow sculptures are due on February 1 at 3:00 p.m. at the YMCA.  Awards will be given at the Friday night bonfire next to the Armory where the Snowbelters will sing some Warm up tunes.

On Saturday, Warm Up Oswego begins at noon at the Y Armory with a Hot 2 Trot 2k race, Treasure Hunt in the Snow, Crazy Costume Sled Race at 3:00 and vendors and entertainment all day at the Armory.  A downtown scavenger hunt will award $500 in prizes.

Fireworks by Pyrotecnico over the Oswego River begin at 6:00 p.m.  Hot Spots throughout Oswego will keep Oswego warming up all night Friday and Saturday including a Warm Up Wine, Cheese and Chocolate tasting at Canal Commons, Mug o’ Music at Taste the World, Art Openings at the SUNY Downtown location and Lakeside Artisans and a  Barn Dance at the McCrobie Civic Center on Friday Night with Great Bear Trio.

On Saturday night after the fireworks, the Music Hall will host “Boots & Shorts” at the McCrobie Civic Center. GS Steamers is hosting a HOT WING FESTIVAL to support the Child Advocacy Center in Oswego County. Live music and dancing will be included as well.
