An Exciting Blues Festival Tradition Begins Nov. 23 In Rock Hill (Sullivan County)!

the-sullivan.com

The first annual Sullivan County Blues and Music Festival kicks off on Nov. 23 at Rock Hill, N.Y.

The lineup of artists performing at this first ever event is astounding, and growing every day.  Many regional and national blues acts will appear.  The event is being called a “Living Musical Tribute To Blues Harp Legend Little Sammy Davis.”

Davis, a resident of the Hudson Valley (Poughkeepsie) is one of the most beloved blues musicians in the country.  He and guitarist Fred Scribner (“Midnight Slim”) were featured as the house band for the Don Imus morning radio show.  Now 83 years old, he still retains a busy touring schedule.

The venue for this festival is The Sullivan, the region’s newest elegant boutique hotel.
