Scary (And Fun) Times Ahead in the Land of “The Headless Horseman!”

headless horseman

This is one of New York’s most cherished (and frightening) Halloween rituals.  And it all takes place in Sleepy Hollow where the famous legend was born!

Philipsburg Manor transforms into a terrifying landscape ruled by the undead, the evil, and the insane. Visitors begin walking a haunted trail, stumbling upon scary scenes of a town driven mad by the Headless Horseman. The Hollow’s unfortunate inhabitants are all too ready to keep visitors from ever leaving.

Be sure and check the website for all the fun (and, yes, family friendly!) Halloween events in this historic community. Crowds swell this small burg to more than twice its normal size as thrill seekers head to the “Land of the Headless Horseman” for a truly one of a kind Halloween experience.
