It’s A Holiday Down In The Hollow In Cortland On December 9

On Sunday, December 9, 2012  from 1 pm – 3 pm, it’s a Christmas festival at Lime Hollow in Cortland.

Come and share the spirit of the holiday season as we gather and learn about cultures from around the world at our Visitor Center. Stations will be set up so children can wander and learn about multiple holidays and customs. At each station, you will enjoy a sample of traditional food or create a craft oriented to that culture’s history. Old Saint Nicholas will be wandering around handing out treats to all the kids. Listen to live holiday music, warm-up with a cup of hot chocolate and browse the gift shop for that special gift. Enjoy discounts on select store items. If you haven’t already, you can purchase your tree and wreaths too! Free admission. Donations appreciated.

This wonderful family festival takes place at Lime Hollow Center for Environment and Culture.  More than 20,000 visitors come to the center each year to explore the world around them through more than 10 miles and numerous wildlife viewing stations..  You will be amazed at the new $1,000,000 Visitor’s Center (left) which is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year and is hosting this event..
