Mardis Gras Festival Comes to Western New York! (VIDEO)

March 9-10 enjoy a weekend packed full of fun with the Winter Carnival at Holiday Valley Resort which includes the Snow Ponies Race, the Cardboard Box race on School Haus, a costume parade down Mardi Gras and the infamous Dummy Downhill at the Yodler Lodge. The highlight of this fun filled weekend is the Saturday evening Mardi Gras Parade on Washington Street in the Village. You will experience the zaniest costumes and the most Mardi Gras style, family friendly fun around!

Ellicottville is a famous western New York ski resort community, and on parade night all of the bars, restaurants, pubs and cafes are open and busy as thousands descend on Main Street to watch the frivolity of the evening. Here is a video of 2012’s Mardi Gras Parade.
