A family-fun tradition since 1886, the Ulster County Fair features concerts including The Charlie Daniels Band, midway rides and games, Robinson's Racing Pigs, Two by Two educational petting zoo, Butterfly Experience, Wednesday night fireworks, horse shows, livestock shows, truck and tractor pulls, chainsaw carving champion Josh Landry, 4-H and community exhibits, wool spinning and weaving demonstrations, favorite fair food and more.

Unlimited midway rides, shows and entertainment are all included with fair admission.

Headline concert acts are
Thunder Ridge (7 pm Tuesday);
Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters (8 pm Wednesday);
The Charlie Daniels Band (8 pm Thursday);
Keith Anderson (4 pm and 8 pm Friday);
Jenny Tolman (7 pm Saturday);
Cale Dodds (8 pm Saturday);
Journey former lead singer Steve Augeri (5:30 pm Sunday).

Pay-one-price admission is $50 per vehicle (up to 8 occupants) on Carload Tuesday, $17 per person (adults and children 36 inches and taller) Wednesday - Sunday, and free for seniors ages 62 and older on Thursday till 4 pm.

Fair hours:
4-10 pm Tuesday,
10 am - 10 pm Wednesday - Thursday,
10 am - midnight Friday – Saturday,
10 am - 8 pm Sunday.

Midway hours:
4-11 pm Tuesday,
11 am - 11 pm Wednesday – Saturday,
11 am - 9 pm Sunday.
