The Ulster County Fair, a family-fun tradition since 1886, features concerts, entertainment, exhibits, livestock shows, favorite fair food, midway games and rides for all ages, from whimsical kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides.

Enjoy racing pigs, an educational petting zoo, horse shows, 4-H competitions, children’s shows, champion chainsaw carver Josh Landry, and wool spinning and weaving demonstrations.

Special events include a garden tractor pull (6 pm Tues.), fireworks (Wed. at dusk), The Oak Ridge Boys (8 pm Wed.), a truck pull (7 pm Thurs.), Restless Heart (8 pm Thurs.), the Martin Family Circus (4 pm and 8 pm Fri.), Ulster County Sheriff's K9 Demo (5 pm Fri.), an antique tractor pull (6 pm Fri.), Savannah Jack (4 pm and 8 pm Sat.) and BJ Thomas (5:30 pm Sun.).

Parking, entertainment and unlimited rides are included in fair admission $40 per vehicle (up to 8 occupants) on Tuesday and $15 per person (adults and children 36 inches and taller) Wednesday - Sunday. Seniors are admitted free on Thursday until 4 pm.

The fair opens at 4 pm Tuesday and 10 am Wednesday - Sunday.
Rides open at 4 pm Tuesday and 11 am Wednesday - Sunday.
Gates close at 10 pm Tuesday - Thursday, midnight Friday - Saturday and 8 pm Sunday.
