The Hanford Mills Antique Engine Jamboree and Powerfest is Saturday, September 7 from 10-5pm.

The mill showcases the history of steam engines, and they do it in a very fun and family friendly way!  Guests can see a wide variety of gas engines and steam engines in action.  You’ll be amazed as real antique working machines from the past grinding corn, sawing logs, and even putting out fires!  The mill is one of the great treasures of Central New York.  Bring the family!  There will be lots of kids activities, food (from Eagle Ridge Barbecue) and live music from the toe tapping sounds of the Stoddard Hollow String Band.

And remember when you are there….the mill has one of the greatest sights you can see at an old mill in Upstate New York.  Their giant water wheel.  It is terrific!
