The Friends of the Farmer Festival is a two-day food lover’s dream, and it’s all for a great cause.

First, there’s the fundraising “Hootenanny!” dinner on July 19, and the Food Lovers Festival on July 20!

Say it Loud! Say it again! HOOT! FeastOn! July 19 at 6.30 p.m. in the field at sunset over looking Copake Lake at the Copake Country Club to Celebrate Farming in a benefit for the FarmOn! Foundation, which funds educational programs and scholarships in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension for Hudson Valley Students to continue studies in Agriculture Education.

This Farm Fresh Fundraising Event in year three is hosted by Chef Zakary Pelaccio of Fish & Game in Hudson. It celebrates food from our local farms. Eat with your farmer, indulge in Hudson Valley gastronomy and spirits all locally sourced within 5 miles from where we eat it!

Friends of the Farmer Hudson Valley Food Lovers Festival

Don’t miss out on the Friends of the Farmer Hudson Valley Food Lovers Festival from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday July 20 at Copake Country Club, Copake Lake, Columbia County.

It makes sense to eat local. Everyone benefits from the barn-to-belly movement. This festival celebrates our farmers, brings awareness to our food choices and benefits the FarmOn! Foundation, funding educational programs and scholarships for education in agriculture in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Shop and buy from local artisinal producers, farms and restaurants. Meet your farmers and learn about CSA and Ag-focused non-profits. Connect with your community.
