The world famous Roycroft Arts and Crafts movement will be showcased during their annual Winter Festival on Dec.1 and 2 in East Aurora this year.
Elbert Hubbard founded the movement in the late 1800s and the Buffalo (East Aurora is a suburb) region thrived with many followers coming and practicing their craft in the area.
The R.A.L.A. (Roycrofters At large Association) is holding their Winter Carnival in East Aurora High School to handle the expected throngs attending. This will be a juried show and sale of astounding Arts and Crafts items from furniture to paintings to stained glass to jewelry.
Food and lively entertainment will make this a festive event for sure!
