The 1st Annual Lake George Winter Carnival was held in the winter of 1961. Now, over a half-century later, this celebration of all the great Adirondack wintertime outdoor activities continues with 4 activity packed weekends in the month of February.
The 2016 Lake George Winter Carnival had a great start the first weekend! The weather was great and people were everywhere! We had events all over the village! The second weekend was extremely cold and we had to move some events indoors. Third weekend was GREAT!! This last weekend is going to have great weather. Make sure you check out the Glacier Golf Tournament, Sunday 2/28/2016, Noon – 3pm, 6 hole course, prizes form local Golf courses.
