The Jennie Bell Pie Festival is a tribute to a member of one of the founding families of the Rondout Valley near Ellenville.  Jennie Depuy Bell (1915-2004) made pies for the area and was well regarded as “the pie lady” baking contributions for area community events and church suppers.

This festival is a testament to Jennie and brings several thousands to it each year.  It is a free event.  The highlights are a full day of family activities, live music, many vendors and a large fireworks display at dusk.

And of course lots of delicious pies!
