Hunter Mountain is throwing its annual German-American party on August 10-11.
This is always one of the most fun and festive times of the year in the Catskills. The German Alps Fest will feature a large selection of German beers and foods and a seemingly non-stop lineup up of German/Polka bands.
Among the entertainers at the 2013 German Fest is Jimmy Sturr. Jimmy and his orchestra will perform many of their popular songs and dance numbers for a large and excited crowd. In case you didn’t know, Jimmy Sturr is America’s most popular polka band and he has received an astounding 18 Grammy Awards.
Jimmy has brought his famous band to Hunter Mountain several times before. Here is a video of the excitement of Jimmy’s show from a past German Alps festival!
