Festival Fanatics Check Out Tap NY 2013! [VIDEO, PHOTOS]

The Festival Fanatics paid a visit to Hunter Mountain today to check out TAP NY.  It was awesome!

This is the premier craft beer festival in the Empire State and it is now in its 15th year.  The Hunter Mountain Ski Resort was packed with thousands of beer fanatics for this two day event.  Some 65 different New York craft brewers were there pouring more than 250 microbeers from around the state.  Some of these classy breweries were from Albany, Long Island, Lake Placid, Rochester, Cooperstown, New York City, Ithaca, Saratoga, Troy, Buffalo and others.

Hunter Mounatin provided a “mountain” of delicious food which was nonstop all day long.  From comfort food, to Jamaican cuisine  to barbecue specialties and everything in between the food was incredible.  Cooking demonstrations were nonstop in “the big room” all day long.

The outdoors part of the day was spectacular.  Live bands around every corner kept the mood spirited and upbeat and the 75-degree weather certainly put everybody in a great mood.

Vendors provided the chance to purchase any sort of a myriad of beer items…mugs, T-shirts, beer making kits and bar paraphernalia.

Every published article and report about TAP NY refers to this as the #1 beer festival in the state.  The Festival Fanatics have been to a lot of festivals over the years and we disagree with that statement.

We believe that TAP NY is the best beer festival in the whole Northeast!  See for yourself here in the video and photos we took.  We can’t wait to go back in 2014!
