Sharon Springs Becomes A Victorian Christmas Snow Globe On December 1!

beekman1802

The Sharon Springs Victorian Christmas Celebration is coming Saturday, December 1, 2012.

It is one of the most fun times you can have at a winter festival…and you get to dress up in a Victorian dress or a top hat and tails for the day!

Sharon Springs (located on NYS Rt. 20, fifty miles west of Albany) is an historic old mineral spa destination for the rich and famous.  The village has undergone a major renaissance in the last few years.  It is now fun, festive and fabulous!

And speaking of fabulous, television reality stars “The Fabulous Beekman Boys” own a business on main street and have been the driving force behind the community’s three large festivals held here annually (a spring garden festival and a Harvest festival). Brent Ridge and his partner Josh Kilmer-Purcell will be in attendance to meet and greet the many hundreds of fans of their show (now seen on the Cooking Channel) at their upscale mercantile located in one of community’s most historic old hotel buildings.
