The 31st Annual Greater Buffalo Train and Toy Show is this weekend November 17 &18.
This is one of the great traditions in Western New York and thousands are expected to come through the front doors of the Main Event Center at the Fairgrounds in Hamburg, N.Y.
The fairgrounds are located 20-minutes south of Buffalo and also hosts the Erie County Fair. This is THE place for train hobbyists and collectors of all ages. More than 350 tables will be set up selling every imaginable gauge layout, train car, railroadiana of all sorts and more. Also, dozens of vendors will be selling toys and dolls of every imaginable kind.
The following weekend (Nov. 23-24) begins the huge Festival of Lights at this same venue featuring a two-mile long drive through the fairgrounds amidst more than a million twinkling holiday lights and whimsical Christmas scenes.
